This page explains what cookies are, which ones this site may use, and how you can accept or reject optional cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can keep the site functional or help measure how pages are used. Related storage such as localStorage may hold your consent choice.
How we use cookies
Essential cookies (and equivalent storage) remember your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Optional analytics cookies help us understand which articles and engagement pages about audits for fintech are useful. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, forms, or inquiry submission.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| anchorLedger_cookieConsent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | Until cleared by you (localStorage) | Anchor & Ledger Compliance |
| _ga | Optional analytics — distinguish visitors | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics (only if accepted) |
| _gid | Optional analytics — distinguish visitors for 24 hours | 24 hours | Google Analytics (only if accepted) |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can also clear site data in your browser settings to remove stored preferences and cookies. Browser controls differ by vendor; consult your browser’s help documentation for site-specific deletion.
Third-party cookies
If you accept analytics, Google may set cookies subject to its own policies. We do not load analytics scripts when you reject optional cookies. Embedded images served from public image hosts may still result in network requests outside our domain; those hosts may process technical data under their terms.
Impact of disabling
Disabling essential preference storage may cause the banner to reappear. Disabling analytics does not affect engagement inquiries, reading journal articles, or viewing rates. For how personal data is handled more broadly, see our privacy notice.
